Anglican Church in Central America
Intro
The Anglican Church in Central America is the Anglican Communion province for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Panama. It was formed in 1998 when autonomous dioceses that had earlier been linked to the Episcopal Church joined with Costa Rica to create a regional province.
Structure
The province uses episcopal polity, with parishes grouped into dioceses and each diocese headed by a bishop. Wikipedia describes it as a five-diocese province, one see in each of the countries it directly covers.
That makes the structure comparatively simple within the Anglican Communion: one regional province, five dioceses, and one primate elected from among the bishops.
