Intro

The Anglican Episcopal Church of Brazil is the Anglican Communion province for Brazil and traces its roots both to early Church of England chapels and later Episcopal Church missionary work in Portuguese. It became an autonomous province in 1965 and is organized as a national church covering the whole country.

Structure

The Brazilian province is a single metropolitical province whose primate is elected from among the bishops. Wikipedia describes it as comprising nine dioceses and one missionary district.

Those jurisdictions are spread across Brazil's major regions rather than being grouped into separate provinces.
