Church of Nigeria
Intro
The Church of Nigeria is the Anglican Communion province in Nigeria and one of the largest Anglican bodies in the world. Its roots lie in nineteenth-century Church of England mission work, but it has developed into a national church with its own primate, internal provinces, and a very large diocesan network.
Structure
Wikipedia says the church is organized into internal ecclesiastical provinces, each headed by an archbishop, with the Primate of All Nigeria serving as the senior national bishop. This layered provincial system reflects the church's rapid growth and lets it oversee a very large number of dioceses across the country.
