The Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean is an Anglican Communion province serving Madagascar, Mauritius, and the Seychelles. It is led by its own archbishop and primate, based within one of the province's dioceses, and represents the main Anglican structure across those island territories.
The province is organized as eight dioceses: six in Madagascar and one each in Mauritius and the Seychelles. Its archbishop also remains a diocesan bishop; the current primate is also Bishop of Fianarantsoa.
This layout reflects the church's island geography. Madagascar accounts for most dioceses, while the two smaller island states each form a single diocese of their own.
| Diocese | Territory | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Antananarivo | Central Madagascar | See city in the national capital |
| Antsiranana | Northern Madagascar | Centered on the far north of the island |
| Fianarantsoa | South-central Madagascar | Current primatial see |
| Mahajanga | Northwestern Madagascar | Missionary and diocesan work in the west |
| Toamasina | Eastern Madagascar | Formerly the Diocese of Tamatave |
| Toliara | Southern Madagascar | Created in 2013 from Antananarivo |
| Mauritius | Mauritius | Single-island diocesan jurisdiction |
| Seychelles | Seychelles | Single-island diocesan jurisdiction |
