Intro

The Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria is an Anglican Communion province formed in 2020 from the old Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa. It covers Egypt, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa, and its primate also serves as Archbishop of Alexandria.

Structure

The province is organized into four dioceses created when the former Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa was elevated into a full province. The Archbishop of Alexandria is also the diocesan bishop of Egypt.

Together these dioceses cover eight countries listed in the Anglican Communion data for this site: Algeria, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Libya, Somalia, and Tunisia.
