Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui
Intro
Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, also called the Hong Kong Anglican Church, is the Anglican Communion province for Hong Kong and Macau. Formed as a province in 1998, it is a major Christian denomination in Hong Kong and is especially notable for being the first Anglican province to ordain a woman priest.
Structure
The province is organized into three dioceses in Hong Kong and one missionary area in Macau. Each diocese has its own bishop, while the archbishop serves as primate of the province and directly oversees the Macau missionary area.
Its General Synod is arranged in the typical Anglican way, with houses of bishops, clergy, and laity representing the dioceses and the missionary area.
