Province of the Anglican Church of the Congo
Intro
The Province of the Anglican Church of the Congo is the Anglican Communion province spanning the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo. It emerged from larger regional Anglican structures in central Africa and took its present name after Zaire became the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Structure
The province is headed by the Archbishop of the Congo, who serves as both metropolitan and primate.
