Intro

The Province of the Episcopal Church of Sudan is the Anglican Communion province for Sudan. It was constituted as a separate province in 2017 after a period as the internal Sudanese province within the former united Sudan and South Sudan church, with its primatial seat centered on Khartoum.

Structure

The province is comparatively compact, with a primate who also serves as Archbishop of Khartoum and a diocesan structure inherited from the earlier united church. Wikipedia describes its present form as the autonomous successor to the northern Sudan internal province created before full provincial status was granted.

Wikipedia lists five dioceses in the province, covering the church's main regional centers inside Sudan.
